Best known for playing “Thor” in The Avengers series, Chris Hemsworth was born in Melbourne in the state of Victoria. The most recent movie “Avengers: Endgame” made him become one of the highest-paid actors in the world.

Chris Hemsworth started his career appearing in television series. He began acting in a famous soap opera in Australia called “Home and Away”.

In 2009, Chris Hemsworth decided to pursue a career in Hollywood.

As well as his older brother Chris, Liam Hemsworth was born in Melbourne.

Before becoming a star in Hollywood, Liam started playing a role in the Australian soap opera “Neighbours”. The Aussie star moved to Los Angeles with Chris Hemsworth to start his career in the movie industry.

The movie “The Last Song” based on the Nicholas Sparks novel with the same name, was filmed with his former wife Miley Cyrus.

Born in Sydney, Rebel Wilson is a comedian, actress, producer, and writer.

Rebel studied at the Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP) in New South Wales. In 2003, she moved to the United States to focus on film projects.

In 2012, became world-wide famous after starring in the movie “Pitch Perfect” with Anna Kendrick and Brittany Snow.

Nicole Kidman was born in Hawaii (USA), while her Australian parents were temporarily in the United States on student visas.

Raised in Sydney, she studied at the Philip Street Theatre and also attended the Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP). Nicole began her acting career in Australia in 1983 and it is a consecrated actress.

Her awards include an Academy Award, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and four Golden Globe Awards. She was listed among the highest-paid actresses in the world in 2006, 2018, and 2019.

Hugh Jackman is one of the most successful Australian actors in Hollywood. He was born in Sydney and became famous after his superhero roles in movies.

Also, the actor collects multiple awards and nominations, including a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actor for his work in the movie “Les MisĂ©rables” (2012).

However, he is mostly known for playing “Wolverine”,  a role for which he holds the Guinness World Record for “longest career as a live-action Marvel superhero”.

The actress Margot Robbie was born in Dalby, in the state of Queensland. During her teenage years, Margot moved to Melbourne to pursue an acting career.

Her first appearance was in the Australian soap opera “Neighbours” in 2008. The Aussie actress became internationally famous after starring in the movie “The Wolf of Wall Street” with Leonardo DiCaprio.

In 2017, Time magazine named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world, and in 2019, she was ranked among the world’s highest-paid actresses.

Unfortunately, the actor passed away in 2008 due to an accidental overdose.

Born in Melbourne, Ruby Rose is an actress, model, and television presenter.

She became famous as a VJ on MTV Australia and co-hosted TV shows such as “Australia’s Next Top Model” and “The Project” on Australian TV.

However, her international fame came when she acted in the series “Orange is The New Black” on Netflix.

Olivia Newton-John is a British-Australian singer, songwriter, actress, dancer, entrepreneur, and activist.

She was born in Cambridge, in the United Kingdom but her family moved to Melbourne in Australia when she was six years old.

In 1978, Olivia starred in the musical film “Grease” with John Travolta, leading her to fame. The soundtrack of the movie is one of the most successful in history.

She also has a consolidated musical career and sold 100 million records worldwide, making her one of the world’s best-selling artists of all time.
